His deep-seated belief that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, deserves affordable healthcare is at the heart of his practice. This belief has been the guiding principle behind the foundation and continued growth of Valley Care Clinic.
Allan brings an impressive 27 years of healthcare experience to his role. His journey began as a Registered Nurse (RN), where he honed his skills in high-stress environments like the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. His exemplary leadership skills led him to
serve as a Nursing House Supervisor for 9 years, further expanding his healthcare expertise.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Allan has worked in diverse settings, from internal medicine and correctional health to retail health clinics. Each of these roles has added to his comprehensive understanding of healthcare and his ability to provide well-rounded, patient-focused care.
But Allan’s commitment to healthcare extends beyond his civilian career. He is also a proud US military veteran, having served as a combat medic before transitioning into nursing. This experience has not only shaped his perspective on healthcare but has also instilled in him a deep sense of duty, resilience, and empathy.
At his core, Allan is a passionate and caring healthcare provider. His commitment to his patients well-being is evident in every aspect of his work, from his empathetic bedside manner to his relentless pursuit of affordable healthcare for all.
Wilfredo Concio, FNP
Wilfredo Concio, FNP, is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 25 years of nursing experience that spans across multiple continents. A graduate of a nursing program in the Philippines, Wilfredo’s medical journey began in a Heart Center where he cared for high-risk cardiac patients, including those recovering from post-CABG and post-open heart surgeries.
His extensive experience also includes working in pediatric cardiac research, demonstrating his versatility in patient care. Seeking to broaden his professional horizons, Wilfredo moved to the United Kingdom, where he served as a nurse in large hospitals in Northern Ireland and London.
His leadership skills were recognized as he took on the role of an assistant manager, showcasing his ability to excel in both clinical and managerial roles.
Wilfredo later relocated to Arizona in the United States, where he continued to expand his nursing expertise in medical and cardiac intensive care units.
His passion for patient care and continual learning led him to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently, as a Nurse Practitioner, Wilfredo applies his extensive experience and patient-centered approach in a retail clinic setting.
